New Moon (Twilight Saga,#2)

Have you ever loved someone who is far better than you in every aspect? Bella think she has. She is in fact,  in love with Edward Cullen, a vampire. Being a vampire he has many supernatural talents: reading minds, heavenly beauty, inhuman strength and many other things. But what really bother Isabella Swan is the fact that he is in fact, frozen in time. Bella has just become 18 years old. She is distressed because she is a year older than her 'forever 17' boyfriend. Something happened at her birthday party which made Edward believe that he can't afford to be close to her. So, he left.

What would happen if your love abandons you. Bella is beyond distressed. She is practically wrecked. She has become lifeless. She is trying to live, live for her loved ones, for her father Charlie. Then one day, she heard him...she is sure she did. The pain in her chest lessens. She find solace in the hallucinations she gets whenever she is in danger. She tried to do everything she can do to hear his voice, including riding bikes. She spent a lot of time with his friend Jacob Black, who is a werewolf who is hunting Victoria, a vampire ants to kill Bella for avenging her boyfriend James' death.

When everything seems to be getting normal, Bella realised that Edward is in danger. She has to save him, but it's not easy to rescue someone who wants to die. She has to decide between her friendship with Jacob and his love for Edward. She can stay in Forks and live an almost normal life or she can risk her life trying to save Edward.Who will she choose?

The sequel to Twilight, New Moon is the second book in the Twilight Saga. I wouldn't say this is better than the prequel because there is no comparison. If you have read the first book, I don't need to tell you that this book is a must read although this book can also be readed without reading the first one. Though I must warn you, there is a lot of pain in the book and I would not be surprised if you cried while reading the book.

The characters  have developed a lot throughout the book. Bella learns to cope with the pain of loneliness, she found a way to cope with the pain in her chest. She makes the right choice in the end but her choice may surprise you. The book is a real page turner. Good Reading!!

Twilight (Twilight Saga, #1)

When 17 year old Isabella Swan moves to Forks, Washington to live with her father she expects that her new life will be as dull as the town. But in spite of her awkward manner and low expectations, she finds that her  classmates are drawn to this pale, dark-haired new girl in town, all except the the Cullens. These five adopted brothers and sisters obviously prefer their own company and will make no exception for Bella. Bella is convinced that Edward Cullen in particular hates her, but she feels a strange attraction to him, although his hostility makes her feel almost physically ill. He seems determined to push her away - until, that is, he saves her life from an out of control car. Bella will soon discover that there is a very good reason for Edward’s coldness. He, and his family, are not human - and he knows how dangerous it is for others to get too close

This book is a real treat for the readers who prefer paranomal romance: a clumsy girl who can't walk straight without finding something to trip over; a century old vampire who has never experienced love before, and their breath- taking love story As for the supernatural fans who believe in vampires, werewolves etc, I would say forget every fact you know before reading the book, just remember the power of love. I couldn't  keep the book down, even though I had other stuff to do. My advice to all the readers: if you haven't read it yet, do yourself a favour and read it ASAP. The book is one of a kind. It contains the glory of first love, romance, thriller, suspense, and a secret that has to be kept.

The book has also been changed into a fantastic movie, too. But believe me, the book is even better First you will laugh, then you will suspect, then you will fear, but at the end, you'll be glad you gave it a try.
